It's no secret PS3 came out wrong with few interesting games and overpriced hardware. So now they have to correct stuff, of course price cuts or anything that increases the value by bundling free games will help.
I expect this kinda of stuff from Sony all year, since they have to keep up with the cheaper XBOX 360 with it's best games coming this year.

The game looks the same XBOX 360 version has a few extra live features. But they didn't say graphics or anything is any different.
Nothing else will matter. EA releases on all consoles and always will, they will start making a lot of Wii titles this gen. They're the ridiclous cash cow.
They release games at the same time for all consoles, doesn't matter if the game is trash. EA never determines who wins the console wars, they're the multi console whore of all time.

I played the PS3 demo, and the 360 demo long ago. Not sure which looks better. I think the 360 demo controlled better however. But the truth is I didn't find GRAW 2 to be that good of a game on either console.
It's about this year. And I think it will be interesting to see how PS3 holds it's own this year. They can't afford to fall behind that much more. I think this year is more important to PS3 than next year.

Just a phony attack on the PS3. If you want to go by this, then the world is coming to an end. 23 PS2 titles, 4 XBOX 360 titles? What the hell is going on here?
TGS won't be much of a show unless you're last gen fan it seems.
But PS3 is not in a sprint. I think the PS3 is a console that will last for along time and you're begining to see signs of this already.
Maybe I'm wrong but 360 fans don't seem as confident anymore about statements like PS3 is dead it's going under.
I already saw how disappointing this new gen has been so far, and how slow it's been taking to really get going. I'm not gonna want to go throw all this again just for slighly better graphics. I won't be interested in a new gen till 8 years from now. I already learned my lesson. By that time I won't be playing video games anymore. I'll be an old man in my 30's.
When they have studies that show stats like only 30% of XBOX 360 owners know about it's high definition capabilities, and less than half of PS3 owners know it plays Blu ray, it shows that the public isn't as educated about all this as you might think.

But rumors are that 360 is dropping price in Europe pretty soon. That always makes a difference.
Still I'm always hearing PS3 has different specials in European stores, to be honest I have no idea what's going on over there or how much the PS3 really costs in Europe these days. But An official price cut like in the US, wouldn't hurt.
That's all I honestly see, it looks brighter, over bright can also mean less realistic or not. I don't think there's anything to see in those screen shots. I'm still honestly confused on how XBOX 360 fans think their screen shots look better.
If brighter means better, then the 360 screen shots win.
360 has the # 11 and # 15 skus, PS3 is at # 16 now. The 360 price drop is helping. And there's a lot of games moving up the sales ranks like Bioshock for 360 and PC and the 360 version of Madden is staying strong at # 4.
I see some rugged times still for PS3, lets see how Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword do. I predict they're gonna have to cut the price again to try to stay close to XBOX 360 this holiday. I don't think they can afford to fall behind much more.
